What an incredible week at POWERCLEAN 2026! From the latest industry innovations and hands-on education to reconnecting with longtime friends and building new business relationships, this year's event was another reminder of just how important it is to get the cleaning industry together under one roof.

Hosted by the Cleaning Equipment Trade Association (CETA), POWERCLEAN 2026 took place October 8–11 at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida. Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, contractors, and industry leaders from across the country came together for four days of networking, education, product demonstrations, and conversations about the future of the industry.

For our team at Dab Marketing, this year was especially exciting. We had the opportunity to exhibit, conduct interviews with companies entering the CETA Innovation Awards, teach our AI workshop, and spend time with the people and businesses that continue to move this industry forward.

We left Orlando with new connections, exciting ideas, and an even greater appreciation for the companies and individuals who make this industry what it is.

Bringing the Industry Together: The Power of POWERCLEAN

One of the things that makes POWERCLEAN such an important event is the caliber of companies and people in attendance.

The cleaning equipment industry includes far more than pressure washing contractors. Behind every machine, pump, hose, accessory, and cleaning system is a network of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, engineers, technicians, and business owners working to improve how the industry operates.

POWERCLEAN creates an environment where those different sides of the industry can connect directly.

Throughout the event, we saw businesses exchanging ideas, discussing new technology, strengthening distribution relationships, and exploring opportunities to work together.

Some of the most valuable conversations at an event like this don't happen during a scheduled presentation. They happen in the hallways, at dinner, around the exhibitor booths, and when you run into someone you haven't seen in years.

Those conversations can lead to new products, partnerships, business opportunities, and relationships that last a lifetime.

As a marketing company that works closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors, being in that environment gives us valuable insight into where the industry is heading and what businesses need to stay competitive.

Golf, Education, Outdoor Demonstrations, and Plenty of Fun

The excitement started as attendees and exhibitors arrived at Rosen Shingle Creek, with registration and exhibitor setup kicking off the event.

Friday brought a full schedule of activities, beginning with the annual POWERCLEAN Golf Tournament at Shingle Creek Golf Club. It was a great opportunity for attendees to spend time together outside the traditional tradeshow environment.

Here is a video recap:

The day continued with the Women of CETA kickoff and luncheon, educational opportunities, and outdoor demonstrations that gave attendees a chance to experience equipment and cleaning technologies firsthand.

There was also plenty of entertainment throughout the event, including technician challenges and even a dunk tank!

These activities are an important part of what makes industry events memorable. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about equipment, meet the people behind their favorite brands, share experiences, and enjoy being part of an industry community.

The educational lineup covered a wide range of subjects, including business growth, cleaning techniques, insurance, artificial intelligence, drone technology, equipment maintenance, and industry safety.

It was a strong combination of practical business education and technical knowledge that attendees could take back to their operations.

CETA Innovation Awards: Showcasing What's Next for the Industry

One of the biggest highlights for our team was participating in the coverage of the POWERCLEAN 2026 Innovation Awards.

Each year, CETA provides manufacturers and industry innovators with an opportunity to showcase products, technology, and advancements designed to improve equipment performance, efficiency, safety, and the way professionals operate.

Our team had the privilege of visiting exhibitors, interviewing the people behind these innovations, and helping share their stories with the industry, and this year's entries gave us plenty to talk about!

FNA Group: Power On Command and Aqua Sense

FNA Group continued its history of bringing new technology to the industry, earning recognition in the Complete Equipment category.

Alana Martinez got with with Gus Alexander, owner of FNA Group and recent past president of CETA, to discuss their latest innovations.

Following last year's recognition for the Dual Wash Pro, FNA returned with two exciting technologies.

Power On Command introduces control of the pressure washer directly at the pump, while Aqua Sense is designed to detect inadequate water supply and shut down the engine to help protect the pump from damage.

Both innovations address important opportunities to improve equipment operation, protection, and long-term reliability.

AR North America: Advancing Pump and Component Technology

AR brought several innovations and upgrades to POWERCLEAN 2026, taking first place in the Components category.

During our interview, Mark Williams discussed the AR1210, upgrades to the AR45 LFP pump, and the new VR-A unloader.

These developments highlight the importance of component-level innovation. Improvements to the pumps, unloaders, and equipment components that professionals depend on every day can have a major impact on performance and reliability.

AhatTek: Bringing New Precision to Drone Cleaning

Drone cleaning technology was another exciting topic at this year's event.

Alana Martinez interviewed Ahat from AhatTek about the company's innovations in drone technology, including an articulating spray head and a remotely adjustable nozzle designed to provide greater precision and control.

AhatTek earned first place in the Accessory category, demonstrating the growing opportunities for advanced technology in professional cleaning applications.

Whisper Wash: The TriForce Bar

Our team also connected with Maxwell Baldwin from Whisper Wash to discuss the company's TriForce Bar entry in the Accessory category.

Whisper Wash continues to be a familiar name in professional surface cleaning, and it was exciting to see the company's latest product development represented at this year's event.

LATIMAT 2.0: Addressing Wastewater Containment and Compliance

Environmental responsibility and wastewater management continue to be important conversations throughout the cleaning industry.

Alana Martinez interviewed Shelly from LATIMAT 2.0 while standing directly on the company's innovative containment system.

LATIMAT 2.0 is designed to keep vehicles elevated and out of contained wastewater, helping contractors and facilities better manage wash water while addressing environmental and operational compliance needs.

Innovations like these demonstrate how the industry continues to develop solutions that go beyond cleaning performance alone.

Congratulations to all of this year's Innovation Awards winners and participants! Seeing the engineering, creativity, and investment that goes into developing new industry products is one of the things we enjoy most about POWERCLEAN.

We're grateful to the companies that took time to speak with us and share the stories behind their products.

Dab Marketing at Booth 214: Conversations, Connections, and New Opportunities

In addition to our involvement with the Innovation Awards, Dab Marketing was excited to have our own exhibitor booth at POWERCLEAN 2026.

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and contractors to discuss everything from marketing strategy and website development to branding, content creation, and the changing ways customers discover businesses online.

For us, exhibiting is about much more than handing out business cards.

It's about understanding where businesses are today, what challenges they're facing, and where they want to go next.

We had conversations about strengthening online visibility, improving websites, creating more effective content, reaching new customers, and using modern marketing tools to support business growth.

We also enjoyed reconnecting with companies we've worked alongside for years and meeting new people who are helping shape the future of the industry.

Having our team on the tradeshow floor also allowed us to capture video, conduct interviews, share event highlights, and help extend the reach of POWERCLEAN beyond the people who were physically in Orlando.

That's one of our favorite parts of event marketing. The event might last a few days, but the content, relationships, and opportunities created there can continue delivering value long afterward.

Building Your Own AI Business Partner: Our POWERCLEAN Workshop

Another major highlight of the week was the opportunity to teach our workshop, Building Your Own AI Business Partner, on Sunday morning.

Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of everyday business operations, but many business owners are still unsure how to begin using it effectively.

We wanted to change that by providing practical, beginner-friendly education focused on helping attendees actually put AI to work.

Instead of spending the session talking about everything AI might eventually do, we focused on helping business owners understand how to use the tools available today.

Our workshop was designed to show participants how AI can become a useful part of their business, assisting with tasks such as:

  • Developing marketing and content ideas

  • Improving customer communication

  • Organizing information and business processes

  • Supporting planning and everyday decision-making

  • Building a personalized AI assistant that understands their business

Attendees were guided through creating their own AI business partner and received a workbook to help them continue developing their skills after the workshop.

Our goal was simple: help business owners leave with something they could actually use rather than just another presentation full of ideas.

As a marketing company already incorporating AI into our workflows, we believe education and practical adoption will become increasingly important for businesses of every size.

We're grateful to CETA for the opportunity to bring this education to POWERCLEAN and share another way businesses can prepare for the future.

Why Organizations Like CETA Matter

Events like POWERCLEAN highlight the importance of having an organization dedicated to supporting the cleaning equipment industry.

CETA brings together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and contractors who all have a role in moving the industry forward.

Beyond the tradeshow itself, the organization creates opportunities to discuss important industry issues, promote education, support product innovation, and strengthen professional relationships.

As equipment technology changes and businesses navigate challenges involving safety, regulations, workforce development, and customer expectations, having a place where industry leaders can collaborate becomes increasingly valuable.

It's also an opportunity for contractors and newer businesses to connect with the organizations and people responsible for developing and supplying the equipment they depend on.

For those willing to get involved, the value extends far beyond a few days at an annual convention.

We encourage industry professionals to learn more about CETA, explore membership opportunities, and consider how getting involved can help strengthen both their businesses and the industry.

Thank You for an Incredible POWERCLEAN 2026!

As we wrap up another POWERCLEAN, we want to extend a huge thank you to CETA leadership, the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and everyone who helped make the event possible.

Putting together an event that brings so many different parts of the industry together requires an enormous amount of work, planning, and coordination.

We also want to thank everyone who stopped by Booth 214, attended our AI workshop, participated in our Innovation Awards interviews, or simply took a few minutes to catch up with us throughout the week.

Those conversations and relationships are what make events like this so valuable.

We're leaving POWERCLEAN 2026 energized by the innovations we saw, the people we met, and the opportunities ahead.

At Dab Marketing, we're proud to work within an industry filled with entrepreneurs, innovators, and companies committed to building something better.

Until next time, thank you for an unforgettable POWERCLEAN 2026!
